About us

The analysis decision-makers rely on to understand Argentina.

Poliarquía Consultores is Argentina's leading firm in political, social and electoral analysis, and one of the country's most established public opinion research firms. Companies, investment banks, international funds, governments and political leaders turn to us to understand the Argentine landscape and anticipate where it is heading.

Our work spans political and electoral analysis, strategic advice for companies and investors, market and image research, studies for the energy and mining sectors, and consulting for governments and campaigns.

Our clients come from the sectors that drive the economy: banking and finance, energy, mining, agribusiness, consumer goods, manufacturing, healthcare, insurance, telecommunications and media, as well as international organizations and universities.

We draw on four decades of systematic research, begun at Catterberg y Asociados, and on proprietary indicators that have become benchmarks, such as the Government Confidence Index, the Consumer Confidence Index and the Citizen Optimism Index. Our directors have access to the circles where decisions are made and are regularly consulted by the most influential media in Argentina and abroad.

How we research

Our own operation, end to end.

We design the samples, conduct the fieldwork and process the data with the firm's own teams. The quality of the data is decided at every one of those stages.

In-house call center

Telephone surveys of landlines and mobile phones, with every interview recorded and supervised in real time.

Probability-based online panel

Made up of people contacted in previous household and telephone studies, not self-selected online.

Face-to-face fieldwork nationwide

Large-scale household surveys and community fieldwork, with interviewers trained for each study.

Qualitative research

Focus groups and in-depth interviews with probability-based recruitment, and on-the-ground observation, to understand what a survey alone cannot show.

Track record

Ten years of electoral projections with LA NACION.

Between 2005 and 2015, Poliarquía Consultores and the newspaper LA NACION maintained a joint working agreement to measure and forecast every election. Over that decade we covered 21 elections and produced 118 projections. This review, prepared at the close of that cycle, compares each forecast with the final result. Since then, Poliarquía Consultores has not published electoral forecasts in the media.
